IMPACT ON AGRICULTURE
Standing crops destroyed:  2.4 million ha (24% of the 9.7 million ha sown in 49 of 79 flood affected districts/MINFA/SUPARCO)
   
Wheat seed lost at HH level: 500 000 – 600 000 mt (FAO)
Livestock Damages:  
  1.5 Million Large and small animals and 10 Million poultry has been lost including distress sale (WB/ADB/FAO)
Irrigation System Damaged:  
  Tertiary water courses damaged in: KPK 1790, Punjab 5545, Sindh 6990 (Source: OFWM KPK Punjab Sindh)
FAO is providing support to:  
  629,563 HH Agriculture, 295,339 HH Livestock, 25 250 HH Irrigation (1010 units, each benefiting 25 families)
